Apply Description $17.28 per hour, 20 hours per week Part-Time, Non-Union, Non-Exempt Position BASIC FUNCTION OF EDUCATION AIDE: Assist the Teacher and Assistant Teacher in providing a safe learning environment and implementing planned classroom activities to provide an educationally sound experience, which meets the individual needs of the children. RESPONSIBILITIES OF EDUCATION AIDE: Assist Teacher or Assistant Teacher in planning activities Carries out educational activities supporting individual children’s learning outcomes Supervises designated groups of children Maintains a clean, safe and orderly physical environment Reports any health or behavioral problems to the Teacher Supports parent involvement and engagement throughout ECD Fulfills Mandated Reporter responsibilities Other related duties as assigned Requirements REQUIREMENTS OF EDUCATION AIDE: H.S. or G.E.D. required Credits in ECE preferred 2 yrs related experience in an early childhood program desired EOE AA/M/F/Vets/Disability BENEFITS: Paid Time Off Holiday Pay Tuition Assistance Paid Professional Development Will work with school schedule
