Summary
The Seasonal Associate is a key member of our fast-paced Operations Department, helping us to achieve our mission of distributing and fulfilling both small and large orders for charity, retail, e-commerce and third-party logistic customers. The Seasonal Associate’s primary job is to ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment, from inventory management to processing and shipping. They handle tasks like picking, scanning, packing, labeling, and shipping orders, while also maintaining quality assurance. Teams include but are not limited to; Shipping & Receiving; Dropship Fulfillment; Production; Special Project; Quality Assurance; and 3PL. Specific goals and objectives vary by day and by team.
The role often involves working in a fast-paced warehouse environment and requires physical labor. Willing and able candidates will be given the opportunity to train and develop among the various cross-functional teams to further boost their advancement and skillset. The successful Seasonal Associate will be able to alternate and switch among teams to execute the respective duties and responsibilities accordingly.
Depending on the season and the need, the Seasonal Associate assignment typically ranges from one to upwards of six or seven months. Top performing Seasonal Associates may be considered for regular employment or asked to be retained for future projects and/or seasons. Post-seasonal employment is not guaranteed.
Part-Time Status: As a Part-Time Seasonal Associate, you'll have the opportunity to coordinate a work schedule with your supervisor that fits your needs and the needs of the organization. Specifically, as a Part-Time (FLEX) team member, you can work with your supervisor to customize your schedule to work around your academic, extracurricular and other activities. The Part-Time Associate averages between 15 to 30 hours per week. Please note, our operational schedule varies by season and we cannot accommodate all requests dependent upon the season. Evening and Weekend Shifts are only available November through December. The Seasonal Associate must be willing and able to work Evening, Weekend, and FLEX shifts as needed.
Seasonal Employment Dates: Targeted start date of or around mid-October through end of the season (roughly mid to late December). Top performing Seasonal Associates may be considered for regular full-time or part-time employment or asked to be retained for future projects and/or seasons. Post-seasonal employment is not guaranteed.
Daily Duties Include:
• Coordinates and Achieves Operational Objectives:
• Properly selecting, packing, and preparing orders for shipment, ensuring timeliness, accuracy and efficient handling.
• Speed and accuracy of order fulfillment, verifying item codes, quantities, packing slips, and labels are withing customer specifications.
• Coordinates, prepares, prints and/or scans necessary documentation for order processing.
• Organizes and restocks inventory to improve efficiency.
• Lifting and moving boxes (up to 50lbs self-lift)
• Carrying, Stacking and Palletization of product
• Loading & Unloading of trucks including small parcel and Less-Than-Truckload (LTL)
• Restocking of products
• Organization and cleanliness of work area
• Conducts Quality Assurance including requesting or collecting second/additional counts
• Safety Compliance:
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment in the warehouse.
• Operating equipment and resources (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts) in a safe and efficient manner.
• Ensure that all warehouse activities within the Production Department comply with relevant safety regulations and company policies.
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements
