Purchase Ledger Role Overview
NC Associates are currently recruiting a Purchase Ledger for a successful global organisation based in Blackburn.
The ideal candidate will have previous experience within a Purchase Ledger or finance administration role, with a good understanding of day-to-day finance processes. You’ll be confident using Excel and finance systems, have strong attention to detail and be comfortable working with high volumes of financial information.
Purchase Ledger Responsibilities

Accurately processing purchase invoices, supplier statements and related financial documentation

Raising and processing sales invoices, including job-related billing through the company’s internal systems

Maintaining accurate customer, supplier and job-related financial information
-
Assisting with credit control activities, including following up on outstanding balances and responding to account queries

Carrying out regular reconciliations of customer and supplier accounts, investigating and resolving any discrepancies

Supporting the preparation and processing of supplier payment runs

Liaising with operational and administrative teams to resolve invoice, payment and job costing queries
Purchase Ledger Experience Required

Previous experience within Purchase Ledger or a similar finance role

Proficient in Microsoft Excel

Strong organisational and communication skills

Excellent attention to detail

Ability to manage a busy workload and meet deadlines
