Job Description
Summary: NBCUniversal is one of the world's leading media and entertainment companies, creating world-class content across various platforms. The Coordinator, Development - Sports role involves coordinating activation workflows, supporting brand integrations, and ensuring effective cross-functional communication to facilitate successful sports sponsorship activations.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate end-to-end activation workflows from RFP receipt through activation including kickoff steps, asset intake, routing materials for feedback, and final delivery of approved assets to execution teams
- Support brand integrations across in-program and live sports environments by tracking requirements, timing/lead times, and execution details
- Help maintain team alignment around format, ownership, placements, timelines, and graphics packages tied to sponsored elements and show integrations
- Partner with Sales/Planning and Sports Production/Programming to align event/game selection and ensure selections and details are communicated to the appropriate teams
- Facilitate internal communication processes related to in-show sponsorships (e.g., design mock process, lead times, and partner communication needs)
- Support recurring touchpoints and production check-ins to ensure progress against milestones and readiness for execution
- Maintain up-to-date trackers/status views for active campaigns, capturing key dates, deliverables, approvals, and outstanding needs to keep stakeholders aligned
- Assist with quality control by confirming that approvals and final assets match requirements prior to delivery and launch
- Document next steps, open questions, and dependencies (e.g., approvals, timing constraints, and workflow requirements) to reduce execution risk
Required Qualifications:
- College degree
- On average 1–2 years of experience at an agency, media company, sales organization, or in sports production, with responsibility for presentation, creative, or promotion development
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; ability to manage multiple timelines and stakeholders simultaneously
- Clear, proactive communicator comfortable coordinating across cross-functional partners
- Comfort working in structured activation workflows that include kickoff steps, approvals, routing, and launch readiness
- Familiarity with sports media, sponsorship elements, and live production constraints (e.g., lead times and execution windows)
- Experience supporting cross-platform activations involving digital integrations and programming coordination
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Understanding of the creative development, production, and execution of promotions and sponsorship integrations
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with internal and external partners
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Genuine interest in sports, live events, and the fan experience across broadcast and digital platforms
- Familiarity with AI-powered tools and workflows (e.g., generative AI for research, presentation development, or operational efficiency) is a plus
