Summary: Navy Federal Credit Union is dedicated to Analytics/Reporting and Data Engineering development. They are seeking an intern to assist with data analysis, documentation, and the development of dashboards and reports to support business objectives. Responsibilities: - Assist in data analysis and validation, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and alignment with defined business metrics and KPIs - Assist with documentation of data pipelines, data sets and data definitions using enterprise standards - Support the development and maintenance of dashboards, reports, and scorecards using enterprise BI tools - Support with automation of data preparation tasks such as generating data dictionary and source to target mapping - Provide support to the assigned department; may work on small projects or portions of larger projects - Assist and collaborate with various levels of staff to accomplish tasks/assignments - Perform research and analysis; may include quantitative and/or qualitative analysis - Assist in building and maintaining data ingestion and transformation pipelines for enterprise data ecosystem on cloud - Maintain professionalism in all interactions, placing member service as priority - Process and update data in automated systems; may generate and analyze reports - Perform other duties as assigned Required Qualifications: - Currently pursuing a degree from an accredited college or university, preferably Computer Science, Data Science, Data Analytics, IT Management or related fields - Experience with programming languages such as Python, SQL - Understanding of Data Engineering, Analytics and data architecture concepts - Knowledge of Data Engineering, APIs, and cloud development - Adaptability to new technologies - Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving abilities - Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment Preferred Qualifications: - Exposure to Power BI - Effective communication skills and a commitment to self-development - Strong organizational, planning, and time management skills Required Skills: Python, SQL, Data Engineering, Data Analytics, Data Architecture, APIs, Cloud Development, Research, Analytical, work collaboratively Benefits: Highly competitive pay, Generous benefits and perks
