Job Description
Summary: The National MS Society is a national Non-Profit dedicated to supporting people impacted by MS. The People & Culture Intern will support the operational plan of the People & Culture department through project-based assignments and help enhance employee experience and organizational culture.
Responsibilities:
- Support projects related to employee engagement, culture initiatives, or process improvement
- Help maintain and update employee data, documents, or systems
- Provide administrative and project support to the team as needed
- Participate in team meetings and professional learning opportunities
Required Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a degree as a Junior or Senior in college, any year in graduate school, or a recent higher education graduate
- Open to all majors, with a preference for Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related fields
- Must have reliable access to a personal laptop and stable internet connection for the duration of the internship
- Ability to work 8 weeks, 20 hours/week
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Strong detail orientation, organizational skills, and time-management skills
- Ability to coordinate multiple deadlines and ask for help when needed
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite or similar software for e-mail, document, and spreadsheet creation/management – specific training will be provided
