Job Summary:

The DGM Projects will lead end-to-end execution of key initiatives under the IndiaAI Mission, with a focus on AI compute infrastructure, project delivery, and government program implementation. The role includes managing the full RFP/RFE lifecycle, contract management, and coordination with multiple stakeholders to ensure timely, compliant, and outcome-driven execution.

Role & responsibilities

• Project Execution: Plan, implement, and monitor AI infrastructure and ecosystem projects, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets
• RFP/RFE Management: Handle end-to-end procurement lifecycle including drafting, evaluation, bidder interactions, and award
• Contract Management: Oversee contracts with CSPs/OEMs, monitor SLAs, and manage deliverables and amendments
• AI Compute Infrastructure: Support creation and scaling of GPU-based compute infrastructure (cloud and air-gapped environments)
• Stakeholder Coordination: Liaise with government ministries, industry, startups, and academia for program execution
• Governance & Compliance: Ensure adherence to GoI procurement norms (GFR/GeM), security guidelines, and audit requirements
• Monitoring & Reporting: Track progress, utilization, and outcomes; prepare briefs for senior leadership

Preferred candidate profile

• 12 years of relevant experience in project/program management, out of which at least 5 years should be in a managerial or lead role handling technology programs, projects, or compute infrastructure.
• Experience in handling RFPs, contracts, and vendor management
• Exposure to cloud, data center, or AI infrastructure preferred
• Familiarity with government processes and procurement frameworks

Desirable Skills

• Experience in planning, deployment, and management of large-scale compute infrastructure
• Experience in implementation and management of technology programs, preferably in a government / PSU / large organization setup

Educational Qualification

Bachelors (B.E./B.Tech preferred); / mastersdegree in a relevant discipline from a UGC/AICTErecognized University/Institution.
