They are seeking an Accounting Intern to provide entry-level support to the Property Accounting and Operations Accounting teams, assisting with asset creation support activities, account reconciliation research, and preparation of supporting schedules. Responsibilities: - Assist with asset creation support by compiling and organizing documentation required for asset setup - Support project‑to‑asset activities through verification of project cost summaries and supporting schedules - Maintain fixed asset documentation, including file organization and data validation - Perform basic research related to asset records and capitalization support - Assist with account reconciliation research by pulling transaction detail and support from SAP and Excel - Document reconciling items and research findings for review by Operations Accounting staff - Support month‑end close activities through preparation of basic Excel schedules and tie‑out support - Perform account activity and variance research as assigned - Prepare and maintain Excel workbooks used by the accounting teams - Follow documented accounting procedures and internal controls - Respond to information requests in a timely and professional manner - Assist with special projects and general accounting support as needed Required Qualifications: - Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field - Strong attention to detail with the ability to organize and document work clearly - Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel - Ability to follow established procedures and work effectively under supervision - Professional, dependable, and willing to learn Required Skills: Accounting, Property Accounting, Operations Accounting, Account Reconciliation, Microsoft Excel, SAP Benefits: Hands-on experience in a professional setting with exposure to real-world accounting and finance practices., Mentorship and networking opportunities with experienced professionals in the field., Exposure to manufacturing industry finance practices.
