EVS Floor Tech- Pool at Nashville General Hospital in Nashville, TN

Job DutiesCleans and maintains hospital floors.

• Maintains floors and carpets in good condition in accordance with established policies/procedures.
• Ensures floors, corners and baseboards remain free of build-up.
• Thoroughly removes excess finish/shampoo from wall, baseboards, equipment and furniture.
• Follows established procedures for stripping, refinishes floors.
• Uses correct procedure and chemicals for stripping floors.
• Stays abreast of new techniques on floor care.
• Properly re-locates furniture after completion of floor.

Equipment, Supplies and Work Area

• Cleans equipment and work areas at the end of assigned shift.
• Properly stores equipment after use.
• Routinely checks equipment for safety/ operating compliance and reports all defective equipment to Management.

Education

High School Diploma (Equivalent) - Preferred but Not Required.

Licensure / Certification None Required

Experience

One year experience in hospitality/food services is preferred.
