Job Description
Summary: Nasdaq's Product Strategy US Options team is seeking an analytically driven Analyst to join their Chicago-based team supporting the US Listed Derivatives business. The role involves analyzing market trends, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and contributing to strategic initiatives that shape Nasdaq's options trading ecosystem.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze market trends, trading activity, and competitive dynamics to support product strategy decisions
- Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and data pipelines using Python, SQL, and BI tools
- Leverage GenAI tools and develop agents to enhance team productivity and analytical capabilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities and solve business challenges
- Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Contribute to the development of new procedures and best practices within the team
- Support senior team members on complex, high-impact projects with significant autonomy
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree (Spring 2026 graduate preferred)
- Experience using GenAI tools and creating agents
- Proficiency in Python and SQL
- Strong writing and analytical skills with sharp attention to detail
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Curiosity about financial markets and derivatives
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team, requiring minimal direction
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau)
- Experience working in Databricks
- Background in Data Science, Data Engineering, or Data Visualization Design
