Senior Business/System Analyst at N-iX in Ukraine, Ukraine

We are looking for a Senior Business / System Analyst to join a cross-functional Agile team building a next-generation digital banking platform. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the development of innovative web and mobile financial products that deliver secure, scalable, and seamless experiences for millions of users. As a key member of the team, you will bridge business needs and technical implementation, working closely with Product Managers, Engineers, UI/UX Designers, QA, and DevOps throughout the entire product lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

• Gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements.
• Translate high-level business needs into clear, actionable technical specifications.
• Drive requirements from discovery through implementation and product release.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and development teams to ensure successful delivery.
• Model business processes using BPMN and UML.
• Create and maintain high-quality project documentation in Confluence.
• Analyze existing processes and identify opportunities for optimization and automation.
• Participate in REST API design and integration discussions.
• Define and document both functional and non-functional requirements, including scalability, security, and performance.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of commercial experience as a Business Analyst or System Analyst.
• Proven experience delivering complex web and mobile products.
• Strong expertise in requirements elicitation, analysis, and documentation.
• Experience managing requirements throughout the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Hands-on experience with BPMN and UML.
• Solid understanding of REST APIs and microservices architecture.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including UI/UX, Backend, Frontend, QA, and DevOps.
• Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Experience working with Confluence and Jira.
• Understanding of non-functional requirements, including security, scalability, and performance.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to Have:

• Experience in Banking, FinTech, or Financial Services.
• Knowledge of API integrations and OpenAPI/Swagger.
• Experience with event-driven architecture or messaging systems.
• Familiarity with cloud-native applications and distributed systems.
