Job Description
Summary: N.C. Department of Information Technology is seeking a temporary Administrative Associate II to support the Health Services Regulations Section. The role involves performing clerical duties, processing applications, and ensuring the completeness of documents while maintaining frequent contact with customers.
Responsibilities:
- Processing applications in the agency's database
- Verifying continuing education hours
- Checking to ensure applicants are in good standing
- Ensuring applications are complete
- Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects
Required Qualifications:
- High school or General Educational Development (GED) diploma
- one year of administrative experience
- demonstrated experience with data entry
- demonstrated experience with scanning
- demonstrated experience with mailing
- demonstrated experience with customer service
- demonstrated experience with physical and electronic file maintenance
- capability to work independently with a high degree of accuracy
- excellent communication and grammar skills, both written and oral
- ability to write clearly and concisely
- ability to demonstrate flexibility
- manage changing work priorities
- exhibit responsiveness to internal and external customers
