Job Description
Summary: Mytra is a company focused on transforming the supply chain industry through robotics and distributed software. They are seeking motivated interns to join their summer program across various engineering disciplines, providing hands-on experience in product development and technical skill development.
Responsibilities:
- Gain experience with key stages of the product development lifecycle—including design, prototyping, and testing in a real-world robotics environment
- Develop technical skills in areas such as software development, hardware integration, testing methodologies, process documentation, and material flow optimization
- Build problem-solving abilities by tackling real engineering challenges in robotics, AI, and automation systems
- Learn to manage your own scope of work independently, including project planning, execution, testing, and documentation
- Build cross-functional collaboration skills by working alongside mechanical engineers, firmware engineers, software developers, and operations teams
- Experience Mytra's culture of high-fidelity communication, rapid iteration, and thoughtful challenge in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment
Required Qualifications:
- Motivated interns to join for a dedicated summer session across various disciplines including Mechanical Engineering, Firmware Engineering, Systems Test Engineering, Software Systems Validation, Software Interactivity & Tooling Engineering, Operations & Supply Chain, Systems Engineering
- Hands-on product development experience including design, prototyping, and testing in a real-world robotics environment
- Technical skill development in areas such as software development, hardware integration, testing methodologies, process documentation, and material flow optimization
- Problem-solving abilities by tackling real engineering challenges in robotics, AI, and automation systems
- Independent project management skills including project planning, execution, testing, and documentation
- Cross-functional collaboration skills by working alongside mechanical engineers, firmware engineers, software developers, and operations teams
- Ability to communicate with clarity and respect, and a commitment to lifelong learning
