Job Description
Summary: MVP Health Care is a not-for-profit health plan committed to shaping the future of healthcare. They are seeking a Research Intern to support the Customer Experience team by conducting customer and user research, managing data analysis, and contributing to experience strategy and product improvements.
Responsibilities:
- Support lead researchers with the execution of customer and user research studies, including: Survey design, data cleaning, analysis, and reporting
- Help synthesize data from feedback programs into clear, actionable insights
- Maintain and contribute to a centralized repository of research insights, visual assets, and best practices
- Create engaging data visualizations, dashboards, and reports that translate complex findings into clear narratives for business and experience leaders
- Support ongoing experience measurement programs (e.g., CSAT, NPS, CX tracking) and help identify trends and opportunities
- Explore and evaluate emerging AI‑enabled research tools, to improve research efficiency and insight generation
- Participate in specific Intern projects and activities with other interns in the summer program
- Contribute to our humble pursuit of excellence by performing various responsibilities that may arise, reflecting our collective goal of enhancing healthcare delivery and being the difference for the customer
Required Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in UX, Marketing, Business, Psychology, Data Science, or a related field
- Undergraduate students must be a junior or senior at an accredited institution or have graduated within 12 months of the program
- Graduate students must be enrolled at an accredited institution or have graduated within 12 months of the program
- Foundational understanding of UX and/or CX research methods, including surveys, interviews, usability testing, and qualitative synthesis
- Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail
- Ability to clearly communicate insights through storytelling, presentations, and visualizations
- Comfort working with data and learning new tools or platforms
- Strong collaboration skills in a cross‑functional and remote environment
- Ability to manage multiple tasks with guidance in a fast‑paced environment
- Interest in healthcare, member experience, and service improvement
- Curiosity to foster innovation and pave the way for growth
- Humility to play as a team
