Strategic Account Executive at Mutinex in Melbourne VIC 3000

About Mutinex

At Mutinex, we’re not chasing unicorn status—we’re building a sustainable, long-lasting business (think Bowhead Whale). We're an early-stage B2B SaaS company with a proven platform, trusted by big-name clients, and already generating millions in revenue.

Our mission is bold: to build a universal business growth decision engine. Our platform empowers marketing, media, agency, analytics, and finance teams to organise, analyse, and action data at scale—unlocking and optimising the true drivers of sustainable growth.

We’re a hybrid team spread across Sydney, Melbourne, and New York. We value open communication, diverse perspectives, and a culture of continuous learning and feedback.

The Role

We’re looking for a Strategic Account Executive who’s excited by solving complex problems, collaborating across disciplines, and contributing to a product that directly impacts business growth decisions. Whether you come from a traditional path or a more unconventional background, what matters to us is your curiosity, initiative, and ability to grow with us.

As a Strategic Account Executive, you will be the driving force behind our market expansion, managing the end-to-end sales cycle for high-value enterprise accounts. You will act as a consultant to C-suite executives, helping them navigate the complex landscape of marketing investment and business growth.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Strategic Prospecting: Identify and penetrate high-value enterprise accounts within the marketing, media, and finance sectors.

• Consultative Selling: Lead complex sales cycles by understanding deep business pain points and aligning Mutinex’s "decision engine" to customer growth goals.

• Executive Relationship Management: Build and maintain long-term relationships with CMOs, CFOs, and Agency Heads to drive platform adoption.

• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with our data science and engineering teams to ensure our solution meets the unique technical requirements of large-scale clients.

• Market Intelligence: Stay ahead of industry trends across the AdTech and MarTech landscapes to position Mutinex as a market leader.

• Pipeline Management: Manage a robust sales pipeline, providing accurate forecasting and driving deals from initial discovery to close.

What We’re Looking For

•
Enterprise Sales Experience: Proven track record in B2B SaaS sales, Senior Account Executive, or Business Development roles, ideally within the AdTech, MarTech, or data analytics space.

• Strategic Mindset: Ability to translate complex data solutions into clear business value for executive stakeholders.

• Relationship Builder: A natural ability to navigate large, complex organisations and build consensus across multiple departments.

• Resilience and Ambiguity: Comfort working in a fast-moving, early-stage environment where you help define the playbook.

• Curiosity and Growth: A growth mindset and a passion for continuous learning in the ever-evolving world of data and AI.

• Unique Perspective: We believe skills can be developed—so if you bring a unique perspective and are eager to learn, we’d love to hear from you.

Why Work With Us?

• Real Customer Impact: Your work directly shapes our platform and the success of our customers.

• Challenging, Meaningful Work: Tackle complex data and infrastructure problems at scale.

• Autonomy and Ownership: Drive initiatives end-to-end with support when you need it.

• Learning and Growth: Collaborate with a thoughtful team of engineers and data scientists who love what they do.

• Equity Ownership: All team members receive equity (ESOP).

• Parental Leave: 12 weeks paid leave for the primary carer, and 6 weeks for the secondary carer after 1 year.

• Generous Time Off: 20 days of annual leave to start, plus extra days based on tenure (up to 30).

• Work from Anywhere: Take your laptop and work from anywhere in the world for up to 6 weeks each year.

We’re Committed to Inclusion

Mutinex is proud to be an equal opportunity employer. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees. We welcome applicants of all backgrounds, experiences, identities, and abilities. If you need adjustments during the application process, just let us know.
