Ceramic Designer Responsibilities & Duties

• Conceptualize and design new ceramic products.
• Create detailed sketches and prototypes of designs.
• Select appropriate materials such as different types of clays and glazes.
• Develop technical drawings and specifications.
• Conduct research on current trends and emerging techniques in ceramics.
• Collaborate with other designers and artists.
• Produce and test samples.
• Oversee the production process to ensure quality and consistency.
• Manage projects from conception to final production.
• Interact with clients to capture their vision and requirements.
• Stay up-to-date with health and safety regulations.
• Market and promote ceramic creations.
• Teach and mentor aspiring ceramic designers.

Ceramic Designer Qualifications & Skills.

• Bachelor's degree in Ceramic Arts or related field.
• Experience working with CAD software.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating a range of styles and techniques.
• Proficiency in kiln operation and maintenance.
• Familiarity with the full lifecycle of ceramic production.
• Knowledge of modern and traditional ceramic techniques.
• Excellent project management skills.
• Strong understanding of colour theory and glaze chemistry.
• Good networking skills within the ceramics and arts community.
• Previous experience in a similar role.
• Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts, Ceramics, or a related field.
• Strong artistic and creative skills.
• Experience with ceramic materials and various types of clays.
• Proficient in hand-building, wheel-throwing, and slip casting techniques.
• Ability to create both functional and decorative ceramic pieces.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good time management and organizational skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Physically capable of handling materials and equipment.
• Tiles Matching: floor and Samples.
• Experience in Floor Tiles - 600*600, 600*1200, 80*160. And GVT /PGVT.
• Wall Tiles: 300*300,300*450,300*600.
