Job Description
Summary: MUFG is one of the world’s leading financial groups, focusing on making a difference for clients and communities. The Penetration Testing Support Analyst will work on identifying vulnerabilities in applications and infrastructure, assisting with penetration tests, and maintaining documentation under senior team guidance.
Responsibilities:
- Support penetration testing by assisting with scheduling, coordination, and tracking of required activities
- Complete operational requests needed to support security testing, such as access requests, firewall requests, and change management submissions, following established processes
- Assist with maintaining and updating business process documentation under the guidance of senior team members
- Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to ensure requirements and timelines are understood
- Support the quality and consistency of security assessment outputs, including reports and findings
- Help manage findings by validating data, associating findings with assets, and supporting timely reporting activities
- Work with third‑party security vendors by attending sessions and capturing knowledge shared by subject matter experts
- Actively participate in team learning activities, skill development, and knowledge sharing to build technical proficiency and support team success
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to support knowledge sharing and engagement outcomes
- Coordinate scheduling, access, and tracking of remediation testing of penetration test findings
- Champion the responsible adoption of AI technologies into new and existing processes
- Support Penetration Testing & Red Team exercises using AI-assisted tooling
- Assist in testing AI-enabled systems including LLM-based applications, AI inference services, APIs, and supporting infrastructure
- Use LLMs and automation tools to accelerate research, scripting, and documentation activities
- Support the planning, coordination, and execution of penetration testing engagements by contributing to the operational readiness of security assessments
- Assist in maintaining accurate, current documentation of processes and procedures
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, business administration or related fields; applicable specialized training; or equivalent work experience - equally preferable
- Introductory scripting or programming experience (Python preferred)
- Working knowledge of AI concepts such as LLMs, embeddings, and automation agents
- Understanding of cybersecurity concepts
- Understanding of project management methodologies and techniques
- Experienced at multitasking and prioritizing work assignments, with guidance
- Conceptual grasp of basic cybersecurity principles
