Job Description

We are currently seeking a Senior Architectural Technologist with a minimum of 7 years of experience to join our Calgary office. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in architectural design, a passion for innovation, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities:

• Lead technical design and detailing of projects from developed design through construction documentation.
• Employ a range of software tools including AutoCAD, Revit, and other industry-standard or specialized software to produce detailed drawings and models.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and statutory requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to achieve project goals.
• Proactively manage tasks and deadlines, demonstrating ownership and accountability.
• Contribute to the practice's culture of learning and growth, sharing knowledge and supporting the professional development of the team.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Architectural Technology or related field.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and willingness to adapt to and learn new software as needed.
• Solid understanding of building codes, standards, and construction methodologies.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to work through challenges independently.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a tight-knit team.
