Summary: MSIG USA is the US-based subsidiary of MS&AD Insurance Group Holdings, Inc., a leading global insurer. They are looking for an FP&A Analyst Intern to support budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and data analysis, while assisting in strategic decision-making and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Responsibilities: - Assist in budgeting and forecasting by gathering financial data and updating financial models - Support monthly and quarterly financial reporting, including variance analysis of actual vs. forecasted results - Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for business growth - Work with large datasets to generate insights and support business decisions - Prepare presentations and reports for senior management - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather relevant financial and operational data - Assist in ad-hoc projects, such as cost analysis, revenue projections, and process improvement initiatives Required Qualifications: - Pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, financial modeling) and PowerPoint) - Willing to learn financial statements and key financial metrics - Attention to detail and ability to work with large datasets - Strong communication and teamwork skills Required Skills: Financial modeling, Data analysis Important Skills: Excel, Financial reporting Nice-to-Have Skills: Communication skills, Teamwork skills, Attention to detail, Problem-solving skills Benefits: Hybrid Schedule: Minimum 3 days in the office per week
