Summary
The Assistant Manager – Vehicle Processing Operations is responsible for the overall success of an assigned customer operation within a high-volume vehicle processing environment. This position leads daily processing activities, ensures production targets are achieved, manages aging inventory, and reduces vehicle dwell through proactive coordination across processing, accessory installation, body shop, mechanical, quality, and support functions.
The Assistant Manager serves as a primary operational contact for the customer, ensuring strong communication, customer satisfaction, and alignment with changing priorities and requirements. Although assigned to a specific customer operation, this position may rotate among customers or operational areas based on business needs.
Responsibilities
Oversee day to day operation of general operations administration functions and personnel in the office. Generate analysis and reporting tools for port operation. Represent Port Operation in all company IT initiatives.
Carrying out computer program operations, data validation, data entry and reconciliation by comparing different database systems. To handle complex inquiries from customer and coordinate activities with operation by engaged in computer programs, VELES, SAP, ACES, GPQMS, AMOS
Day to day operation of ALL programs and equipment, including scanner. To assist operation obtaining data and/ or information from products such as scanner and/or programs; provide reports and administrative support.
Address all customer service related issues in a timely manner by proactively investigating the issue and responding accordingly; engage face-to-face meetings with customers for the provision of one-to-one service and develop and complaints and feedback to customers.
Manages security department, managers trucker vehiecle out-gate, condinates with Naval Base security and stevedor companies for vessels discharge.
Develops, implements, and monitors pertinent programs and processes to reduce systems issues and downtime; monitors the timely keying of warranty claims and maximizes the profitability of the Operations Administration Department.
Develops and implements department training programs designed to instruct employees in general customer service and warranty practices plus specific instruction with regard to the importance of IT support; provides training for new employees.
Monitors expenditures so as to not exceed approved budget.
Plans, implements, communicate, and monitor policies and procedures in compliance with company rules and regulations.
Audits various program elements for effectiveness; schedules and performs customer service audits; identifies issues and develops corrective action plans.
Maintains thorough knowledge of IT requirements and trends; distributes and/or posts new or revised standards that affect the company.
Generate reports on a monthly and daily basis to ensure operational efficiency.
Maintains records for statistical measurement and conformance to standard practices. Prepares and maintains required Production reports.
Evaluates proposed data processing projects to assess adequacy of existing hardware, and recommends necessary changes or modifications

Compensation
$87,000 - $100,000 yearly salary range. (Subject to Compensation Study Upon Candidate Selection)
