They are seeking a Product Management Intern to contribute to the Avtec dispatch products portfolio, gaining hands-on experience in product development and strategic initiatives. Responsibilities: - Conducting market research and competitive analysis to identify new opportunities and trends - Assisting in the documentation and organization of product requirements and feature specifications - Supporting the team in managing the product backlog and preparing for sprint planning meetings - Collecting, analyzing, and synthesizing product usage data to support data driven decision making - Collaborating with cross-functional teams (engineering, design, and sales) to support the alignment on product requirements and execution priorities Required Qualifications: - Working towards a Bachelor's or Master's Degree - Must be a US Citizen, permanent resident or be an MS student with work authorization (F1 Visa on CPT accepted only for masters-level students) Preferred Qualifications: - Interest in wireless communication concepts and an eagerness to learn about mobile radio and communication systems - Familiarity with software development processes (e.g., Agile/Scrum) and common application types (web, desktop, or mobile) - Basic awareness of hardware design cycles and system integration concepts - Foundational knowledge of IP networking and network protocols - Interest in the enterprise or public safety dispatch industry.
