MAINTENANCE SPECIALIST at Moses Lake Industries in Moses Lake, WA

Summary: Moses Lake Industries, Inc. (MLI) is a rapidly growing producer of ultra-pure chemical products, serving the semiconductor and flat-panel screen industries worldwide. The Maintenance Specialist will perform general duties around the plant, support cleanliness initiatives, and engage in communication with the maintenance team to prioritize work while ensuring compliance with safety and quality regulations.

Responsibilities:
- Perform general duties around the plant including but not limited to, lawn maintenance, exterior building maintenance, and grounds cleanup
- Provide support and resources as necessary to every department in the plant regarding the Facilities Cleanliness initiative
- Engage in daily communication with maintenance team to prioritize maintenance work
- Assist in writing procedures and maintain records of repairs
- Work towards operations excellence through 5S Methodology (Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, and Sustain the Cycle)
- Uphold all MLI policies and "MLI Code of Conduct"
- Strict compliance with Environmental and Safety regulations
- Compliance and individual accountability with the MLI Quality System and ISO Registration is required. It is the employee's commitment to ensure that the Company's actual practices and procedures are exercised as directed
- Performs other related duties as directed as this list is not all inclusive

Required Qualifications:
- High school Diploma or equivalent required
- Working knowledge of computers and MS Office software
- Demonstrated ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously in order to meet established deadlines
- Demonstrated ability to work as a team and/or independently
- Demonstrated ability to perform tasks with attention to detail and accuracy
- Demonstrated ability to maintain regular and punctual attendance

Preferred Qualifications:
- Groundskeeping Experience: Minimum of 1 year preferred
