Job Description
Summary: Morningstar Sustainalytics is seeking an Investment Analyst to join its Institutional Solutions Group within the Investment Management team. This role focuses on supporting institutional relationships through capital markets research, investment manager analysis, and client communication, while delivering superior outcomes for investors.
Responsibilities:
- Supporting asset class research (equities, fixed income, currencies)
- Capital markets research
- Investment manager research
- Research related to risk and portfolio analytics & construction
- Preparation and delivery of client facing materials to meet specific deadlines
- Preparation and maintenance of portfolio construction sheets, client communication and marketing materials, portfolio implementation and trade support, investment manager profiles, and other projects that support client deliverables
Required Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree, preferably in finance or economics
- One to four years of relevant investment experience, preferably in the financial services industry
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal
- A self-starter, able to work on projects independently
Preferred Qualifications:
- An MBA and/or Chartered Financial Analyst® designation or progress towards them is preferred
