Job Description
Summary: Morguard is a fully integrated real estate company. The Training Specialist is responsible for supporting training initiatives company-wide, including updating the Learning Management System and assisting with new hire training and orientation.
Responsibilities:
- Build, post and distribute training schedules and calendars, and establish priorities tied to strategic organizational needs and plans for the residential portfolios. Organize, coordinate, and ensure employee participation in area specific training sessions
- Responsible for ensuring the monthly training calendar is submitted to marketing monthly and posted in Agora
- Follow up with required attendees that have not attended designated classes
- Ensuring all training courses are entered into MMT timely with attendance
- Assist with creating and updating training guides and videos. Receive, review, and re-format training materials received internally to align with Training department standards
- Partner with Human Resources, Community Managers, and the Residential Training Manager to schedule new hire start dates. Ensure that new hire training materials are maintained, up to date and distributed. Track onboarding progress, documenting activities and conducting 30/60/90 day follow ups
- Audit and update the LMS as needed to reflect new hires, employee departures, employee position or site of work changes. Resolve requests for password resets and registration. Enter live training course attendance within LMS. Assist with managing LMS invoices Conducting monthly, quarterly + annual reporting as necessary
- Assist with day-to-day operations of the Training functions and duties. Assist with coordinating ad-hoc projects as assigned by the Residential Training Manager
- Any other job related duties and/or projects that may be assigned
Required Qualifications:
- BS, BA in Human Resources, education, business, marketing or equivalent years of experience required
- Previous work experience with on-site property management operations required; previous experience within a customer service or administrative support function required
- Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal relationship management, diligent follow through and ability to work independently
- Strong computer proficiency and familiarity with Microsoft 365, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel
- Ability to work independently and prioritize effectively with a strong sense of urgency
- Availability to accommodate overtime as needed to accommodate special projects or after-hours events
- Availability to accommodate full time, in person schedule during normal business hours
- Availability to travel up to 15% of the time to assist with onsite training initiatives or special projects
Preferred Qualifications:
- Specific knowledge or familiarity with property management software such as Entrata or a Learning Management System such as Grace Hill/Vision LMS preferred
- Previous work experience with on-site property management operations preferred
- Experience with Canva is a plus
