GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB:
The account manager supports customers by providing helpful information, answering questions, and responding to complaints. They're the front line of support for clients and customers and they help ensure that customers are satisfied with products and services.
Account mangers service customers by answering product and service questions. They will be the main point of contact on order fulfillment. Account Managers will process orders, prepare correspondences, and fulfill customer inquiries to ensure customer satisfaction.
Account managers are an important part of the Account Management team, since they are the main point of contact for order fulfillment, client questions, inventory control and data entry. This position builds a sustainable relationship of trust through open and interactive communication.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coordinate WM daily transportation, logistics, and order management activities, including FTL/LTL shipments, expedited orders, scheduling, dispatch, and delivery tracking.
- Manage WM outbound shipping schedules, shipment confirmations, ETAs, and carrier communications while ensuring accurate and timely updates.
- Partner with WM Logistics, Warehouse, Sales, Accounting, Production, customers, and carriers to resolve scheduling, order, freight, invoicing, and delivery issues.
- Manage customer orders from entry through delivery, reviewing purchase orders, pricing, part numbers, quantities, acknowledgments, and shipment requirements for accuracy.
- Provide customers with timely order status updates, product information, and solutions to routine and complex order-related issues.
- Monitor open shipments and orders, proactively identify delays or discrepancies, and coordinate solutions to maintain on-time delivery.
- Manage customer inventory programs, RMAs, credits, adjustments, and other account-related requests in accordance with company policies.
- Create and maintain reports, spreadsheets, and shipping documentation using Microsoft Excel and internal systems.
- Maintain accurate records and organized communication across multiple email threads, systems, and cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Support assigned customer accounts, special projects, and business relationships while ensuring high attention to detail and excellent customer service.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

- Spanish language skills are a plus, particularly in a manufacturing environment.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
- Highschool graduate, College Degree preferred.
- 1-2 Years of customer Service Experienced preferred.
