Job Description
Summary: MongoDB is seeking motivated and talented students to help build the next-generation database platform as Product Management Interns. Interns will work closely with product managers, user experience designers, and software engineers to analyze user needs, advocate for customer-centric solutions, and shape product strategy.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with product managers, user experience designers, and software engineers to bring impactful ideas to life
- Analyze user needs, identify pain points, and advocate for customer-centric solutions
- Draw insights from data, explore technical possibilities with engineers and designers, and translate learnings into clear product requirements and engaging user experiences
- Shape and communicate product strategy to stakeholders across the organization
Required Qualifications:
- In the process of receiving a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Applied Sciences, or a related field
- Technical skills: while not expected to write production code, you should be comfortable diving into design and code logic, learning from existing examples, exploring APIs, triaging bugs, analyzing support cases, and speaking on any of the technical aspects of the tools in your portfolio
- Communication skills, both verbal and written
- Curious and have a desire to learn and adapt; you are a self-starter and thrive in ambiguity
- Have a minimum of one quarter/semester remaining in university studies after the internship concludes. Graduation date in Fall 2026 or Spring 2027
- Must be authorized to work in the United States. Company sponsorship may be available for eligible candidates applying for certain roles
