Landscape Architect

We are seeking an experienced Senior Landscape Architect to join our growing Architecture team and support an expanding portfolio of landscape projects.

The successful candidate should be a strong landscape design professional who can work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and provide specialist landscape architectural input from concept design through detailed design and construction stages.

This is an important role within a busy multidisciplinary consultancy, with the Landscape Architecture team supporting a significant number of active projects across different stages of delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop creative and practical landscape design concepts for a variety of private and public-sector projects.
• Manage landscape projects from concept design through detailed design, construction documentation, and site stages.
• Work independently and provide specialist landscape architectural input without requiring continuous technical supervision.
• Prepare concept designs, schematic designs, detailed designs, construction drawings, specifications, details, and design reports.
• Produce high-quality presentations and graphic materials to clearly communicate landscape design concepts.
• Coordinate landscape design requirements with Architecture, Structural, MEP, Civil, and other disciplines.
• Review project requirements and ensure landscape designs are technically coordinated, buildable, and appropriate for the project.
• Manage and coordinate landscape drafting, detailing, and documentation.
• Assist with preparation of schedules of quantities and preliminary cost estimates.
• Participate in client meetings, design coordination meetings, and internal project meetings.
• Carry out site inspections, construction-stage reviews, and prepare related reports when required.
• Support the resolution of landscape design and technical issues during construction.
• Manage multiple active projects and priorities within a fast-paced consultancy environment.
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior members of the Landscape Architecture team.
• Maintain high standards of design quality, documentation, coordination, and project delivery.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited university or equivalent recognised qualification.

Required Experience

• Approximately 8–15 years of relevant professional experience in Landscape Architecture.
• Strong experience delivering landscape projects from concept through detailed design and construction documentation.
• Demonstrated ability to independently manage and deliver landscape architectural work.
• Experience handling several projects concurrently.
• Previous experience within an architectural, engineering, or multidisciplinary design consultancy is highly preferred.
• Experience coordinating with architects, engineers, clients, contractors, and other project stakeholders.
• Construction-stage and site experience would be an advantage.
