Job Description – CNC Programmer
Our growing company is looking to fill the position of CNC Programmer. To join our team, please review the list of responsibilities and qualifications.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Travel to customer's facility to perform Site Acceptance Test’s (SAT’s), programming support and repair support on a variety of Modig equipment.
- Provide comprehensive in-person operator and programmer training to our customers.
- Utilize machine tool manuals, technical documents, internal and vendor resources to research machine issues.
- Ensure proper documentation regarding work performed at customer’s facility; the CNC Programmer will provide detailed feedback to management, distributors, and customers.
- Possess and maintain an in-depth knowledge of the machine tool industry, and all required information to support your role.
Job Qualifications:
- A qualified candidate would have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in programming within the Machine tool industry.
- Technical degree is preferred. Validated experience in the industry is acceptable.
- Excellent technical, communication, and presentation skills as well as the ability to read and interpret blueprints / GD&T are required.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills are required.
- Experience with FANUC CNC controls is preferred.
- Experience in 5 axis programming is required.
- Candidate must be able to meet the physical requirements of the job.
- Intermediate travel is required.
- Candidate must pass a criminal background check and obtain security clearances.
- Ability to pass a drug test.
- Experience in either Mastercam or Siemens NX is required.
- Experience in Catia is beneficial
- Experience in cutter selection and fixture design is preferred.
- Must be willing to collaborate with design engineers in Sweden on new machine platforms.
- Ideal candidate will be self-motivated and willing to take on multiple projects.
- Maintain professionalism in customer facilities.
- Must be willing and excited to learn new machine platforms as well as advanced programming techniques.
- Willingness to work individually and in a team environment is a must.

Willingness to travel:

- Some international travel is required for training.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
