Job Description
Responsibilities
- Perform daily and monthly journal postings and maintain appropriate controls over suspense account balances.
- Assist with daily profit and loss (P&L) reporting and prepare monthly balance sheet information to support management reporting.
- Review invoice issuance requests from business units and ensure all supporting documentation is complete and compliant with internal requirements.
- Handle monthly settlements with external counterparties and intercompany entities.
- Perform month-end closing activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis.
- Prepare monthly management reports to monitor and analyze financial performance against budget and forecast.
- Prepare and submit periodic financial reports to Headquarters.
- Support the development and enhancement of budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning tools.
- Participate in end-to-end implementation and process improvement initiatives related to Management Accounting and Financial Reporting.
- Assist with ad hoc projects and assignments as required.
Role Prerequisites
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
- For the Associate position, a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in Financial Reporting, Management Accounting, and/or Regulatory Reporting is required. For the Analyst position, a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience is preferred.
- Familiarity with change management and project documentation, including Business Requirements, Functional Specifications, and Data Mapping.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions, PivotTables, and VBA.
- Exposure to Oracle Financial Reporting systems and Tableau for Management Reporting is an advantage.
- Proactive, analytical, and detail-oriented, with strong problem-solving and planning capabilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across different stakeholders.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment while managing competing priorities and tight deadlines.
