Responsibilities:
- Support daily laboratory operations, including preparing samples, setting up experiments, and operating standard laboratory equipment under supervision
- Assist with documenting procedures, recording test results, and maintaining accurate data logs to support research and development activities
- Help with routine equipment checks, stocking supplies, and following safety and quality control protocols in all lab work
- Offer hands-on experience with materials-focused experiments and close collaboration with scientists and engineers on ongoing projects

Required Qualifications:
- Candidates should possess laboratory skills and experience supporting laboratory technicians in routine experimental work
- Candidates should possess familiarity with laboratory equipment and basic procedures for setup, operation, and cleaning
- Candidates should possess quality control awareness, including following standard operating procedures and documenting results accurately
- Candidates should possess analytical skills for interpreting data, identifying inconsistencies, and communicating findings clearly
- Foundational knowledge in chemistry, materials science, or a related field (coursework or lab classes) is beneficial
- Ability to follow safety guidelines, work carefully with chemicals and materials, and maintain a clean, organized workspace
- Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate in a diverse, multidisciplinary team

Preferred Qualifications:
- Current enrollment in or recent completion of a science or engineering degree program
