This is a fantastic opportunity for a detail-oriented individual to gain hands-on experience in UX research, web design, and digital product development for a mission-driven brand reaching 250K+ Gen Z and Millennial women.

🔑 Key Responsibilities
The Web/UX Design Intern will play a critical role in shaping Miss EmpowHer's digital experience. Your work will focus on:
Website Design & Optimization:
- Audit existing web pages and identify UX/UI improvements to enhance the visitor journey and increase conversions
- Design and prototype new landing pages, program pages, and website features using tools like Figma or Adobe XD
- Ensure all web designs are mobile-responsive, accessible, and aligned with brand guidelines
User Experience Research:
- Conduct basic UX research (user surveys, heatmap reviews, competitor analysis) to inform design decisions
- Develop wireframes and user flows that reflect the needs of our Gen Z and Millennial audience
- Collaborate with the social media and content teams to ensure visual consistency across digital touchpoints
Performance & Iteration:
- Assist in A/B testing design elements and reporting on performance outcomes
- Track and document UX metrics such as bounce rate, session duration, and click-through rates
- Provide recommendations for continuous website improvement based on data
🎯 Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate program in Web Design, UX/UI Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Graphic Design, or a related field
- Proficiency or working knowledge of design tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, or similar wireframing/prototyping tools
- Basic understanding of UX principles, information architecture, and responsive design
- Familiarity with website platforms (Shopify, WordPress, or similar) is a plus
- Strong visual sensibility and attention to detail with the ability to align design with brand voice
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to meet deadlines in a remote environment
- A genuine passion for Miss EmpowHer's mission of women's empowerment, professional growth, and community
