Minor Hotels Australasia is looking for an experienced AI Architect & Strategist to lead the organisation’s AI strategy, architecture, and enterprise-wide adoption initiatives.
This is a technical, hands-on role suited to an AI professional who can combine strategic thinking with practical delivery. You will play a key role in designing, building, and implementing scalable AI solutions across the business while establishing governance frameworks, architecture standards, and best practices.
Working closely with Executive Leadership, IT, Operations, P&C, and business stakeholders, you will identify high-impact opportunities to drive automation, efficiency, innovation, and measurable business outcomes through AI technologies.
Key Responsibilities
Define and lead the enterprise AI and Intelligent Automation strategy and roadmap across the organisation
Design scalable, secure, and integrated AI architectures, including workflows, agents, copilots, and intelligent automation solutions
Architect, build, test, and deploy AI-enabled capabilities across multiple business functions
Develop reusable AI frameworks, patterns, and standards to support enterprise-wide adoption
Ensure seamless integration across existing IT systems, APIs, cloud platforms, and legacy environments
Establish governance frameworks, best practices, and guardrails for AI development and usage
Partner closely with IT Security, Risk, and Compliance teams to ensure data security, privacy, and ethical AI standards are maintained
Identify and prioritise high-value AI opportunities in collaboration with business leaders and operational stakeholders
Deliver training, coaching, and enablement programs to build internal AI capability across technical and non-technical teams
Track and report on business value, adoption, and outcomes from AI initiatives
Further details:
Regular travel between Brisbane and Sunshine Coast offices will be required
Occasional international travel to Bangkok may be required.
qualifications
Successful candidates will have:
Strong demonstrated experience designing and implementing AI, intelligent automation, workflow, or RPA solutions within corporate environments
Deep technical expertise across AI technologies, platforms, and automation solutions
Proven experience architecting scalable, secure, and enterprise-grade AI solutions
Strong understanding of IT systems architecture, APIs, cloud services (Azure/AWS), and enterprise integrations
Experience establishing governance, security, privacy, and compliance standards for AI solutions
Excellent strategic thinking, stakeholder engagement, and problem-solving capabilities
Demonstrated ability to deliver training and enablement programs to both technical and non-technical audiences
Ability to work hands-on technically while maintaining an enterprise-wide strategic perspective
Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to influence stakeholders across all levels of the organisation
