Summary: Minitab is seeking a Software Engineering Intern to support the production of high-quality software products. The role involves collaborating on a project team using an agile development process to plan and produce software that meets design and coding standards. Responsibilities: - Perform basic to intermediate software tasks to help support the production of high-quality software products - Collaborating on a project team using an agile software development process to help plan and produce software that meets Minitab design and coding standards Required Qualifications: - Familiarity with web development technologies such as HTML/CSS, JavaScript/ES6/JQuery and knowledge of web framework such as React.js, Angular, Node.js or VueJS - Knowledge of C++, C#, and/or Python - Experience with source control systems such as Git - Familiarity with testing frameworks and the ability to write and maintain unit tests - Ability and initiative to work effectively both independently and as a member of a development team - Ability to solve basic technical problems - MUST be available to work onsite at our Minitab Corporate Headquarters in State College, PA - To be considered for this role, you must be legally authorized to work in the United States and not require sponsorship for employment now or in the future Preferred Qualifications: - Experience with Docker or Kubernetes is a plus Required Skills: Web development technologies, C++, C#, Python Important Skills: Source control systems, Docker, Kubernetes Nice-to-Have Skills: Testing frameworks, Problem-solving, Team collaboration
