Job Description
Summary: Mill is a waste prevention technology company focused on eliminating food waste through innovative systems. As an Electrical Engineering intern, you will work with a team on the design and validation of new products, engage in hands-on hardware work, and support engineering activities leading up to product launch.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the cross-functional mechanical, systems, and firmware teams on the design and validation of new products
- Run experiments to collect and analyze hardware performance, documenting and validating all results
- Support engineering build activities, partnering with CMs and other teams to track test data and troubleshoot issues
- Work alongside key engineers to root-cause problems and find solutions and workarounds
Required Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree or higher in electrical engineering or related field or can demonstrate equivalent experience
- Fundamental understanding of analog, digital, and power circuit design
- Experience with microcontrollers, sensors, and motor drivers
- Experience with test and measurement equipment like oscilloscopes, signal generators, multimeters, etc
- Experience with Raspberry Pi, Python, or equivalent tools for scripting collection and analysis of data
- Strong analytical and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Altium or other schematic design tools
