The Licensed Residential Service Electrician will diagnose and repair residential and light commercial electrical applications, ensuring compliance with Texas Building Codes and maintaining safety standards.

Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair residential and light commercial electrical applications in accordance with the State of Texas Building Codes
- Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components, using test equipment and hand tools, to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem
- Licensed Electrician will inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with all electrical codes
- Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes, to ensure compatibility and safety of system
- Perform physically demanding tasks, such as digging trenches to lay conduit, moving, and lifting heavy objects, and crawling through small spaces such as attics
- Willing to learn our system

Required Qualifications:
- Must possess a Master, Journeyman or Wireman License with the Texas Department of Licensing & Regulation
- 1 year minimum of residential electrical experience required
- Clean driving record and current valid driver's license
- Ability to pass a drug test and background check required
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Excellent work ethic and leadership skills
- Works well in team environment
- Must be able to lift and move items of 75 pounds and/or more on regular basis and repetitively lift weights of 40 to 50 pounds on raised surfaces
- Must be able to climb, bend, kneel, crawl and stoop on a frequent basis for extended periods
- Must be able to work in cramped or high places such as attics, ladders and tunnels
- Must be able to carry heavy items up and down stairs
- Must be able to work in extreme weather conditions including but not limited to extreme heat, rain, snow or sleet
- Must have mental skills such as critical thinking, problem solving, and a technical vocabulary to understand direction and adhere to established procedures
- Must be willing to adapt well in the face of workplace stressors such as customer service complaints
- Must be able to complete a Job Physical Assessment
