This role plays a critical part in keeping technology development on track as it scales into high‑volume manufacturing. The TD Planner brings structure to uncertainty, aligns teams around data, and helps the factory move faster and more predictably. It’s a role with real ownership, wide influence, and daily connection to both strategy and execution.
Responsibilities:
Lead area teams to identify and mitigate capacity, cycle time, and flow risks
Partner with equipment, process, and HVM teams to anticipate systemic issues and drive mitigation plans
Set and manage plans for WIP, cycle time, and priority allocation across programs
Analyze performance data, highlight trends, and drive actions to improve equipment and area efficiency
Develop and deploy new planning tools, models, and operational techniques to reduce risk and improve predictability
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
5+ years of experience in fab or manufacturing operations
Strong ability to analyze data and translate insights into clear actions
Experience leading projects or initiatives across cross‑functional teams
Working knowledge of fab MES, capacity planning, and line management systems
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in semiconductor manufacturing process flow and area equipment
Background in TD to HVM transition or co‑located fab environments
Proficiency with data and analytics tools such as Tableau, Power BI, SQL, Python, or R
Experience using AI or advanced decision tools to support manufacturing planning
Demonstrated ability to influence without authority and present to senior leaders
