About the Internship
We are looking for curious and motivated students to join our Package Design Team as interns. This internship offers hands‑on exposure to how advanced semiconductor packages are designed and enabled for memory products used in computing, AI, and data‑centric applications.
As the semiconductor industry rapidly evolves to support AI and high‑performance systems, packaging and materials play a critical role. This internship provides a unique opportunity to learn how engineering fundamentals, materials science, and digital tools (including AI) come together in real‑world product development.
What You Will Do
As a Package Design Intern, you will work closely with experienced engineers and contribute to ongoing design and technology projects. Typical responsibilities include:
Package Design Support
Assist engineers with package design activities across different memory products.
Support basic tasks related to package architecture, layout reviews, and design documentation.
Learn how package design decisions impact performance, reliability, and manufacturability.
Materials & Packaging Exposure
Gain exposure to materials used in semiconductor packaging, such as substrates and interconnect solutions.
Help compare and summarize material and packaging options used in different designs.
Understand how material choices influence form factor, cost, and system integration.
Data, Tools & AI Awareness
Support simple data analysis, reporting, or tracking related to design activities.
Get exposure to AI‑enabled and digital engineering tools used to improve productivity and decision‑making.
Learn how AI is increasingly used to accelerate design cycles in the semiconductor industry.
Documentation & Team Collaboration
Help prepare presentations, summaries, and technical documents.
Work with cross‑functional teams and participate in team discussions and reviews.
Follow structured engineering processes and quality practices.

Who Can Apply
Required Qualifications
Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s, Master’s or PHD degree in:
Electrical Engineering
Mechanical Engineering
Materials Science
Electronics / Semiconductor Engineering
or a related field
Strong interest in semiconductors, hardware systems, packaging, or materials
Willingness to learn and work in a team‑based engineering environment
Good communication and basic analytical skills
Preferred (Not Mandatory)
Coursework or academic projects related to electronics, materials, or manufacturing
Basic familiarity with data analysis or engineering tools
Interest in AI applications in engineering and technology
Ability to work in a fast‑paced, innovation‑driven environment
Ideal Candidate

Comfortable working with data, documentation, and engineering concepts
