In the Advanced Modeling and Artificial Intelligence Solutions (AMAIS) Group Hyderabad, you will work in a multi-functional team ofengineers highly skilledin the modeling ofprocess, equipment, structures, and materials. This team’s primary responsibility is to support AMAIS team in Boise, ID, US to enable solutions for Micron’s most significant challenges in Memory development and manufacturing.
As an AMAIS Engineer (Intern) at Micron Technology, Inc., you will be working in the Technology Development (TD) group supporting structure and stress modeling projects. Structure modeling involvesdevelopmentof virtual structures that emulate DRAM/NAND structures on silicon. Stress modeling consists of stress-strain analysis based on thermo-mechanical simulations on semiconductor structures.
While this position is in Hyderabad, IN, you will work alongside advanced modeling engineers acrossHyderabad, IN, and Boise, IDtodevelopandvalidatepredictive structure and stress models.Additionally, youwill create software programs, algorithms, and computational modeling tools to extract concrete insights from modeling and data.You are expected to work in a dynamic and fast-paced team environment, communicating results to the team members, and collaborating with them onnextsteps.
Qualifications:
Independence – be comfortable executing on projects andmaintainingdocumentation
Advanced skills in level set method (LSM) for CAD, meshing, DOE, analysis, rendering
Experienceincomputational geometry, virtualstructuremodeling,numericalmethodsand scientific computing
Experience in Victory Process,Abaqus,ANSYS, SPX and SEM3D
Strong background in constitutive modeling in solid mechanics, and Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
Experience withthermo-mechanical modelingis desirable
Familiarity with semiconductor process integrationis desirable
Familiarity with machine learning and deep learning concepts and applications
Strong debug and problem-solving skills
Experiencewith reports and presentations customized for users,managersand leaders
Excellent written and verbal communication
Outstanding teamwork and experience with remote collaboration tools
Education Requirements:Pursuing MS or Ph.D. inApplied Mechanics, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Physics, or related fields. Prior modeling experience insemiconductordomain is desirable.
