Job Description
Summary: Microchip Technology Inc. is a leading provider of embedded control applications. The successful candidate is expected to use their technical skills and experience to design and develop efficient, accurate, and elegant cutting-edge software solutions to fully automate the transition from design to software.
Responsibilities:
- Design and develop efficient, accurate, and elegant cutting-edge software solutions to fully automate the transition from design to software
- Issuing recommendations and rule checking tools to establish a software-driven FPGA product design
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering
- 0-2.5 years of experience in a related field
- Strong knowledge in C++, as well as a deep understanding of algorithms and data structures
- Experience with shell scripting languages (Python, Bash, TCL)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Masters in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Engineering
- Experience with source code management systems (Git, bitbucket, Jira)
- Exposure to parallel programming techniques, like TBB
- Familiarity/knowledge/experience with any of the following would be a plus: FPGA architectures, AI/ML-driven applications, AI-based code development
