The role involves environmental report review, conducting impact analysis, and performing fieldwork and data gathering. Responsibilities: - Environmental report review and preparation in accordance with CEQA and NEPA requirements - Conduct environmental impact analysis for a range of project types, including residential, commercial, industrial, mixed-use, and transportation/utility projects - Field work, data gathering and research - Availability is targeted at 10–20 hours per week; however, this is flexible and can vary based on current or projected workload Required Qualifications: - Currently enrolled as a part-time or full-time student in good academic standing at an accredited University, College or Technical School - Working toward a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in an environmental-related discipline - Possesses strong analytical skills, excellent writing and oral communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team - Microsoft Office Suite - Driver's License and a reliable means of transportation - Ability to work both remotely and in-person at local Santa Ana office - Strong technical writing skills.
