Summary: Metropolitan Transportation Authority is seeking an Emerging Talent Intern for the Staff Forecasting and Performance Analysis team. The intern will analyze staffing trends, support hiring forecasts, and assist in scheduling assessments to help inform exam planning and contribute to the MTA’s talent pipeline. Responsibilities: - Analyze attrition and staffing data - Support the development of hiring forecasts - Collaborate with the Exams team on assessment planning - Track and update exam schedules - Prepare visual reports and dashboards - Monitor candidate pipelines and hiring source availability - Participate in meetings with HR and operating departments - Assist in ad hoc data analysis and reporting tasks Required Qualifications: - Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is a must - The candidate should possess organizational, analytical and communication skills - The candidate should be able to analyze data and provide the best course of action to leadership - The candidate should be able to work well under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively - The candidate should have a keen eye for detail and be able to work independently while being an active team player - Matriculated in an undergraduate program in good standing with at least 2.5 GPA AND/OR matriculated in a graduate program in good standing with at least 2.8 GPA - All applicants must be authorized to work in the United States at the time of application - Students' transcript must be submitted Preferred Qualifications: - Major(s) Preferred: Statistics, Data Analytics, Human Resources Management, Industrial Organizational Psychology, or related field Required Skills: Microsoft Office Suite, Data Analysis Important Skills: Analytical Skills
