Job Description
Summary: Metropolitan Transportation Authority is responsible for personnel testing, selection, and classification. They are seeking an intern to assist in reviewing resumes, conducting interviews, and supporting the development of a computerized testing program.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting provisional hiring interviews
- Reviewing test questions
- Working with subject matter expert panels for test review
- Helping with inputting questions into the computerized testing program
- Helping test the computerized testing program
- Reviewing resumes to determine if candidates are qualified for positions
- Helping with job analyses
- Helping with notices of examination
Required Qualifications:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is a must
- The candidate should possess organizational, analytical and communication skills
- The candidate should be able to analyze data and provide the best course of action to leadership
- The candidate should be able to work well under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively
- The candidate should have a keen eye for detail and be able to work independently while being an active team player
- Matriculated in a graduate program in good standing with at least 2.8 GPA
- All applicants must be authorized to work in the United States at the time of application
- Students' transcript must be submitted
Preferred Qualifications:
- Major(s) Preferred: Industrial Organizational Psychology, or related field
