As a MetaPhase Intern, you will work as part of a consulting team through a realistic federal contract scenario, contributing to the full lifecycle of IT projects, from proposal to launch. Responsibilities: - Work as part of an intern consulting team through the full lifecycle of a federal IT project - proposal, design, build, and launch - Contribute to building a working prototype or product using modern software practices (Git-based workflows, iterative delivery, and documentation) - Apply AI tools to accelerate delivery using MetaPhase’s internal tooling and modern AI-enabled workflows - Translate mission needs into solution concepts, iterate based on feedback, and communicate progress clearly - Prepare and deliver a final product demo and executive presentation to MetaPhase leadership Required Qualifications: - Strong interest in federal consulting and public service mission delivery - Demonstrated passion for technology and AI, including a clear point of view - you can tell us your favorite AI tool and your favorite technology you've used recently, and why - Proof that you build - personal website, demo link, project write-up, portfolio, or GitHub contribution graph - Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical work to mixed audiences - Rising sophomore, junior, or senior undergraduate student - graduating between 2027 and 2029 - Ability to work in-person at MetaPhase headquarters in Reston, Virginia, four days per week, for the full internship period - Must be eligible for Public Trust clearance; U.S. Citizenship required Required Skills: AI tools, Git-based workflows Important Skills: Federal consulting, Technical communication Nice-to-Have Skills: Project portfolio
