WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO THE TEAM
The Seasonal Operations Support role helps the broader operations team with day-to-day tasks that keep the resort running smoothly. This position supports a wide range of operational activities, including monitoring communication channels, assisting with staffing coordination, logging important information, helping track operational issues, and keeping records up to date.
Working alongside the wider team, this role helps ensure information is communicated clearly, tasks are followed through, and daily operational needs are supported in a timely and organized way. This is a hands-on support role that assists across all aspects of the operation as needed.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor operational dashboards, digital systems, and internal tracking tools to support the day-to-day needs of the resort.
• Accurately log staffing updates, call-ins, incidents, operational changes, and other important information in the appropriate systems.
• Review dashboards and system data to identify trends, gaps, and items that may require follow-up.
• Maintain organized, up-to-date records that support visibility across the operation.
• Use multiple computer systems at once with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Support the team by ensuring information is entered clearly, tracked properly, and easy to reference when needed.
• Assist with reporting and recordkeeping that helps support operational review, planning, and decision-making.
• Answer calls and collect accurate information from MCs and other team members in a clear, professional, and timely manner.
• Take thorough and reliable notes related to absences, lateness, staffing concerns, and other daily operational updates.
• Relay information clearly to the broader team and other resort departments so they can respond appropriately.
• Support communication through phone, email, radio, and other internal channels as needed.
• Help ensure important updates are communicated to the right people at the right time.
• Maintain professionalism, accuracy, and confidentiality when handling sensitive or time-sensitive information.
• Provide general day-to-day communication support to help the team stay aligned and informed.
• Help identify operational issues and determine what needs immediate attention based on urgency, business impact, and available resources.
• Support the team in triaging day-to-day concerns and directing information to the appropriate team or department.
• Recognize problems, ask the right questions, and gather the details needed for quick and informed decision-making.
• Assist with prioritizing tasks and follow-up actions based on severity, timing, and operational need.
• Help monitor unresolved issues and support proper handoff or escalation when needed.
• Work alongside the broader team to help solve problems efficiently and keep daily operations moving.
• Provide additional support on day-to-day tasks as business needs shift throughout the season.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
• Strong computer skills with the ability to navigate operational dashboards, tracking tools, and live updates to support daily decision-making.
• Clear and professional communication skills across a variety of platforms, including phone, radio, email, and digital systems.
• Proven ability to identify issues, ask the right questions, prioritize tasks, and support rapid resolution based on urgency and business needs.
• Meticulous tracking, reporting, and documentation of operational activities to ensure accountability and thorough daily follow-through.
• Demonstrated openness to changing priorities, handling ad hoc responsibilities, and supporting diverse operational needs as they arise.
• Ability to serve as a trusted partner within a broader team, build strong working relationships, and handle confidential information with high professionalism.
