Job Description
Summary: Meridian Bioscience Inc. is a fully integrated life science company dedicated to developing innovative diagnostic products. The HR Intern will support the Human Resources team by developing and executing internal communications and employee engagement projects, contributing to effective communication processes and HR-driven programs.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and recommend engaging content for internal communication channels, including intranet, email campaigns, digital signage, and social media platforms
- Assist in creating and maintaining a consistent voice and branding across HR communications
- Draft announcements and supporting materials to support HR initiatives
- Recommend improvements to the company’s internal intranet site with current and relevant information
- Assist in creating and improving communication processes for HR programs, projects and intranet
- Support planning, coordination, and execution of HR communication campaigns
- Track engagement metrics and provide recommendations for continuous improvement
- Support coordination of employee benefits-related events such as flu shot clinics and 401(k) informational meetings
- Assist with communications, scheduling, vendor coordination, and employee reminders for benefits programs
- Help create educational materials to increase employee awareness and participation in benefits offerings
- Participate in and support the Employee Events Committee and or Inclusion, Diversity and Equity Committee
- Assist in planning and promoting company events, recognition programs, and engagement activities
- Help gather employee feedback and suggest ideas to enhance workplace culture
- Provide general support to HR projects and initiatives as needed
- Maintain organized records of communications and project materials
Required Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Communications, Marketing, Business, or a related field
- Minimum 3.0 GPA required
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
