Summary: Mercury Fiber is a leading provider of high-speed Internet and digital phone service. The Intern - Business Intelligence role will support data analysis and reporting functions, providing hands-on experience in data management to enhance decision-making through accurate reporting.

Responsibilities:
- Assist in collecting and validating data from various internal and external sources to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Support the preparation and generation of regular and ad-hoc reports for different departments and leaders
- Collaborate with team members to analyze data trends and identify key insights
- Help maintain and update reporting dashboards and documentation
- Participate in team meetings to understand reporting requirements and contribute ideas for process improvements

Required Qualifications:
- Working towards Undergraduate degree with studies in Computer Science, Engineering, or Project Management
- Basic understanding of data analysis and reporting concepts
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; including knowledge of functions, pivot tables, and data visualization tools
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Effective written and verbal communication abilities
- Experience with data analysis, reporting, visualization, and GIS tools (e.g., Power BI, ArcGIS Pro, Esri, VETRO, Python)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn new technologies
- Ability to engage with confidential data in a professional manner
