Summary: Mental Health Association of Rochester is offering an internship that provides undergraduate and graduate students with hands-on experience in healthcare administration. The role focuses on hospital management, project execution, and organizational responsibilities.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in approved projects across various hospital departments, contributing to planning, policy analysis, and program development
- Assist in project execution, deliverables, and presenting outcomes to senior leadership
- Collaborate with leadership and project teams, receiving mentorship and developmental feedback
- Contribute to organizational goals while gaining exposure to hospital operations and management functions
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma and completion of at least one year of a bachelor's program, preferably in hospital administration, business, or public health
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively with diverse populations and adapt to various project needs
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Publisher, and Excel
