YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Define the optimal investment strategy for injection moulding machines (IMM), take-out systems, and all related peripheral equipment by location, market segment, and product family.
--> Consideration of sustainability topics: reduction of energy consumption.
Support procurement activities by creating equipment specifications and performing technical evaluations of offers for injection moulding equipment.
Ensure global synergies for investments, service contracts and maintenance, spare parts, and other consumables.
Act as the expert for innovation & technology development in the field of injection moulding equipment.
Contribute to qualification strategies (equipment and processes).
Harmonise global process standards that enable best practices while simultaneously considering site-specific requirements.
Align with tooling management and product design teams: ensure that DFM (Design for Manufacturability) complexity matches the capabilities of the target location.
Support the manufacturing sites in achieving OEE targets and resolving technical challenges.
Employee qualification:
--> Create and maintain a competency matrix for the injection moulding process teams and develop training plans for identified qualification gaps.
--> Train employees to close qualification gaps.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

10 years of experience in thermoplastic injection moulding.
Deep knowledge of process and machine technology.
Project experience and lateral leadership experience.
Training as a plastics technologist (plastics technician) and professional further education.
German C1 / English C1.
50% willingness to travel (travel flexibility).
