Summary: Mechanical Dynamics and Analysis LLC is a world-class supplier of power generation services, parts, and repairs. They are seeking an EHS Intern to support the EHS Manager in promoting a safety culture and ensuring regulatory compliance for safety and environmental standards. Responsibilities: - Assists with the retention of training documentation - Assist with creating weekly all-shop safety meeting topics in addition to weekly department meeting topics - Conduct focused evaluations and facility inspections - Assists with event learnings, corrective action development and completion - Conduct environmental audits for compliance requirements - Conduct job hazard assessments - Work with employees and managers to develop safe solutions for identified hazards - Participate in projects focused on improving safety and efficiency Required Qualifications: - Graduate or Undergraduate student majoring in Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Safety, or Industrial Hygiene - 2+yrs relevant experience with a safety credential (OHST, CHST, GSP or similar qualification) or EHS related degree with relevant experience - Strong verbal and written communication skills - Strong computer and Microsoft Office skills - Critical thinking skills Required Skills: Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Safety, Industrial Hygiene, OHST, CHST, GSP, Microsoft Office
