Summary: MATTE is a full-service creative studio that focuses on storytelling and design. The Graphic Design Intern will support the design team in creating compelling work across digital and print platforms, gaining hands-on experience in the design process from concept to execution. Responsibilities: - Execute engaging design work and visual assets aligned with overall creative direction - Contribute to brainstorming and concept development, bringing fresh and innovative layout ideas - Prepare and package final files for both print and digital production with strong attention to detail - Assist in designing and laying out social media content and content calendars - Provide day-to-day support to the creative team across a range of projects and deliverables - Conduct research and source imagery, references, and inspiration to support creative development - Stay actively engaged with industry trends, cultural moments, and emerging platforms to inform and elevate creative work Required Qualifications: - Must be enrolled in a University or Master's program - Must be available for a minimum of 3 days per week to work at our offices in New York - Must be available between June 1st, 2026 and August 7th, 2026 Internships begin June 1st, 2026 - Must be a graphic design, or related title, major. Creative Advertising, Media Studies, and Film Studies also accepted design-oriented work samples - Must be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator. Adobe Premiere + After Effects a plus) - Must have knowledge of Figma and/or In Design - Skilled in design, typography, and branding - Interest in commercial film, video advertising, and social media content creation - Time management ability, capacity to receive multiple assignments at once Required Skills: Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop, Illustrator, Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Figma, InDesign, Graphic Design, Typography, Branding, Commercial Film, Video Advertising, Social Media Content Creation Internship Start Date: Start in 2026 Summer Benefits: School credit can be provided.
